A chaotic household is sparked when Fran's prize Dachshund, Danke, gives birth, and Fran hopes to raise a champion pup. However, her husband Mark is convinced to let Danke nurse a Great Dane pup abandoned by its mother. Despite Mark's desire to keep the Great Dane, the dog, Brutus, has an identity crisis, believing he's a Dachshund due to his size.
