Marion Warner inherits a desert property in New Mexico, initially planning to evict the Navaho Indians. However, she faces opposition from Morgan, a powerful local figure, and his accomplice Blucher. Instead, Marion befriends Blandy, a Navaho with a refined perspective, who educates her on the tribe's history of exploitation by corrupt white traders like Morgan. Together, they devise a plan to outsmart Morgan's schemes.
