Amateur football team Athletico Greenwich, marking 20 years and 500th match, focuses on its six veteran players who have been with the team since its inception. However, life gets in the way of their celebrations, mirroring the struggles of the younger players trying to achieve their goals before turning 30. Meanwhile, personal issues arise, including Collin's desire for a threesome with his girlfriend Vicky and her friend Sheera, Captain Cass's resentment towards his pregnant partner Kate's focus on their baby, and Johnny's responsibility towards his disabled stepfather Don, the team's former mentor.
