On Halloween night, Malcolm, who was wrongly institutionalized by his wife, escapes and returns home to exact revenge, only to find his wife and her boyfriend out, leaving their son Christopher, a similarly disturbed 10-year-old, in the care of babysitter Linda. As darkness falls, Malcolm begins a sinister game of cat and mouse with Linda, unleashing a terrifying struggle for survival.
