Two teenagers, Sandy and Greg, embark on a camping trip with friends in California, ignoring warnings from a suspicious gas station owner. As they venture deeper, they become separated and team up with the eccentric owner to save the town from an alien threat. However, a former Vietnam veteran believes Sandy and Greg are the actual hostile aliens.
