Mexico, 1840s. When the new Spanish Governor oppresses the peasants, Don Diego Vega becomes Zorro, a masked hero who fights for justice. After spraining his ankle, Diego's twin brother Ramon, now Lt. Bunny Wigglesworth of the British Royal Navy, arrives to help. Bunny agrees to be Zorro, but with a twist: he becomes "the Gay Blade" with new costumes and a whip. He also connects Zorro with Charlotte, an American activist who admires the hero.
