A 16-year-old boy named Godou Kusanagi's life takes a dramatic turn when he emerges victorious in a battle against the God of War, earning the esteemed title of Campione, or God Slayer, and subsequently takes on the responsibility of fighting gods.

Godou Kusanagi, a 16-year-old, unexpectedly becomes the God Slayer after defeating the God of War. As a God Slayer, he must fight Heretical Gods that disrupt the natural order, putting innocent lives at risk. This new role brings challenges, including unwanted attention and complicated relationships with girls like Erica Blandelli, a skilled sword-mistress who harbors a manipulative attraction for Godou.
