Gantz background

Gantz

In a world where the dead are brought back to life, GANTZ's mysterious black balls orchestrate epic battles between humans and alien outlaws secretly hiding on Earth.

Two high school friends, Kei and Kato, coincidentally cross paths on a subway train, where they try to save a homeless man who has fallen onto the tracks. Unexpectedly, they find themselves stuck in a mysterious apartment with others who have also narrowly escaped death, accompanied by a peculiar black orb called Gantz. To survive, they must comply with Gantz's rules and undertake hazardous missions to defeat alien threats.
