A young boy named Gon Freecss embarks on a journey to become a Hunter, fueled by his passion for adventure and a quest to find his absent father.

A young boy from Whale Island named Gon Freecss discovers his deceased father was a renowned Hunter. Inspired, Gon sets out to follow in his father's footsteps, seeking adventure, hidden treasures, and rare creatures. To achieve his goal, he must pass the rigorous Hunter Examination, a test that pushes him to his limits. Along the way, Gon forms strong bonds with fellow aspiring Hunters Kurapika, Leorio, and Killua, and together they face the ultimate challenge: becoming the world's greatest Hunter.
