A struggling illusionist, Ally, is booked for a Christmas show in Las Vegas, but her manager insists she incorporate Christmas magic into her act. When Ally's plane is grounded in the small town of Miracle, Colorado, due to a freak storm, she begins to experience strange occurrences that make her question her skepticism of magic. As she tries to leave town, she finds herself stuck due to an immovable ice block on the only road out. With the help of a local booster, Tim, Ally discovers that the magic of Miracle is real and must put on a second show to help the townsfolk regain their Christmas spirit. But in doing so, she must confront her own lost sense of wonder and magic.
