In the 1980s, Filipa, 14, spends her vacation at Búzios with her family in their beach house. She snoops in her father's office and discovers hidden pictures of him with his American lover Angela. The family announces they won't live together, and Filipa mistakenly thinks Angela is responsible for the split, only to uncover the marriage was built on lies.
