Two sisters, Elsa and Sandra, chase their dreams with their mother, selling dumplings and working as waitresses. Elsa, the younger sister, wants to become a movie star and auditions for a movie, using her sister's voice. Despite failing, a music producer discovers Elsa and makes her a successful singer using Sandra's voice. Along the way, Elsa meets her idol Michael Nara and falls in love, but their relationship is complicated by a lie: Michael uses Elsa's fame to boost his own reputation.
