Dafne, a lively young woman with Down syndrome, lives with her parents, Luigi and Maria. After Maria's sudden death, Luigi falls into depression, worried about leaving Dafne alone. But Dafne, with her childlike thoughtlessness and youthful bravery, tries to lift her father's spirits. They embark on a hike to Maria's hometown in the mountains, where they discover new things about each other and learn to overcome their limits together.
