A devoted sister becomes her autistic brother's fierce advocate, fighting to clear his name after he's accused of murder, and in doing so, unearths long-buried family secrets and gains a deeper understanding of herself.
The movie follows a lawyer, Iris Boelens, who begins to experience problems with her autistic son Aaron. She asks her mother, Ageeth, permission to spend time at her house, where she discovers a shocking truth about her family's past.
