Gonzo scientist Jacob Schroeder ventures into a forbidden Guatemalan jungle to trap thousands of killer wasps, seeking a cure for his wife's illness. With secret military backing, he believes the venom can have great medicinal benefits. However, when the wasps are smuggled into the US and the truck crashes, they escape and wreak havoc on a small town, laying eggs in their victims to hatch thousands more wasps.
