Babli, a seemingly naive village belle, conspires with her boyfriend Shyam to steal a Murthy of Bhagwan Shri Kishan from her estranged in-laws. They involve a local politician, Mayalal Yadav, and an experienced thief, Charan, to carry out the robbery. After missing their train, they take refuge in a mansion belonging to Amaa, who lets them sleep over and offers them food. However, Mayalal's greed and Babli's encounter with Amaa change their plans and lives forever.
