Two troubled individuals, Trent and Joey, try to escape their complicated past in the quirky town of Mooseheart, but instead, they become embroiled in a tangled web of murder, mystery, and marijuana.

In the small town of Mooseheart, Trent Modine and his goofy stepbrother Joey seek a fresh start, trying to distance themselves from their infamous serial killer father. However, Joey's love of marijuana and the town's notorious reputation for good weed and the Candy Corn Killer lead to a series of cliché murders, forcing Trent and Joey to unravel the mystery and clear their family name.
