A young man, Silviu, is released from a youth penitentiary after years of confinement. His mother's sudden decision to bring his little brother to Italy from Romania sparks Silviu's objections. While struggling to cope with his new freedom, Silviu meets Ana, a researcher working on a project within the prison. As his desperation grows, Silviu turns to violence and Ana becomes his captive.
