Cătălin Mitulescu, a renowned Romanian film director, entered the world on January 13, 1972, in Bucharest, Romania. His academic journey took him to the prestigious UNATC in Bucharest, where he earned his degree in 2001.
Mitulescu's remarkable filmography includes the critically acclaimed short film "Trafic", which earned him the coveted Short Film Palme d'Or at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival. His feature film debut, "The Way I Spent the End of the World", gained significant attention after its screening at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival.
In recent years, Mitulescu's latest film, "Loverboy", made its world premiere in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival.
