Kevin Manley, a travel agent, feels unfulfilled and decides to leave his job to attend his grandfather's will reading in Anchorage, Alaska. He inherits the estate only if he completes the 1,000-mile Iditarod dog sled race. Kevin attempts the race to prove himself worthy of his family name and uncover a hidden treasure his grandfathers knew about. As he navigates the competition, he must also confront someone trying to stop him from finishing the race.
