The movie follows Sheriff Steve Warren as he hunts down an outlaw gang that's been robbing stages on the line owned by Nora Reed. When he captures Nora's brother, Frank, and tosses him in jail, Frank is soon murdered. The town's corrupt lawyer and a surveyor conspire to frame Steve for the crime and have him arrested. Steve escapes and goes after the real culprits, who are revealed to be the gang leaders, while also uncovering their true identities as the masterminds behind the robberies.
