A dispirited cult leader, Dave, concocts a plan to give his followers a sense of purpose before their impending demise by faking a prophecy to make a movie about their story. Despite lacking film production knowledge, they recruit a director and find unity in their shared purpose. However, just as they gain momentum, Dave receives a true prophecy, revealing their time is up.
