In the scorching Sahara desert, a determined U.S. Army sergeant, Joe Gunn, navigates his tank through treacherous terrain to escape the relentless pursuit of Rommel's forces. Joined by a handful of Allied soldiers, Gunn's group faces a dire shortage of water, but their luck changes when they stumble upon an ancient well. However, their discovery is met with fierce resistance from a German battalion, and Gunn must make a heroic stand to protect their only source of survival.
