Simon, a graduate of The Actors Centre and Australian Film, Television and Radio School in Sydney, has been a multifaceted creative force in the industry since 1994.
With a vast array of credits to his name, Simon has starred in numerous award-winning films and television series, including Paramount Plus's "Last King of the Cross", Netflix's "Caught", Roadshows "Blacksite", and STAN's "Year Of".
His upcoming projects include a role in the TV series "House of Gods" for ABC and Matchbox Pictures.
As a talented individual, Simon has received numerous local and international awards for his work as an Actor, Writer, and Director.
In his capacity as a writer, Simon has developed several feature films, with "Joseph's Lebanese Roll" being a notable example. This project has received significant recognition, including two rounds of development funding from the New South Wales Film and Television Office, short-listings for Screen Australia's prestigious Aurora program, Project Greenlight's competition, and Indi-visions project lab and script development programs. Additionally, it was a finalist at the Los Angeles-based BlueCat screenplay competition and a semi-finalist at the Australia Independent Film Awards in 2019.
In 2021, Simon's features "Understanding Anatomy" and "Trapped" were both semi-finalists at the Boston Screenplay Awards.
