A German saboteur, taunting the nation on the radio, prompts the Homeland Security Inner Council to seek Sherlock Holmes' expertise. Holmes and Dr. Watson investigate, but a visitor to their lodgings is murdered, leading Holmes to the slums where he meets Kitty, the slain man's sweetheart, who offers to aid the investigation.
