Pat Evans, a German expatriate, is targeted by a shadowy German bund operating in Long Island, who try to recruit her and physically coerce her into joining. She defends herself against the bund's advances and soon finds herself on a private plane with a group of passengers, including famous detective Nick Carter. As the trip unfolds, the group discovers the bodies of two people who have been stabbed to death, and Carter and his sidekick Beeswax, along with Chris Cross, a female gumshoe, work together to uncover a secret cell of Nazi saboteurs and Fifth Columnists.
