In ancient Egypt, a desperate mother saves her newborn son from execution by entrusting him to God's guidance. The baby, Moses, is discovered by the Queen and raised as a prince alongside Pharaoh's son Rameses II. As they grow apart, Moses discovers his Hebrew heritage and defies Egyptian customs. After escaping, he is called by God to lead his people out of Egypt, but faces opposition from Rameses II, who rules the Hebrews with cruelty.
