He summons his jester, Goopy Geer, and a series of absurd events unfold, including an Amos & Andy impression in some versions. A black knight then appears, menacing a young lady in court, prompting Goopy to defend her with creative methods, including using an ax, kitchen utensils, and an animal head, ultimately sending the knight fleeing in disarray.
