Torchy's traffic court encounter with Jackie Maguire, the girlfriend of notorious hoodlum Denver Eddie, sets off a chain of events. After befriending Maguire, Torchy gets herself arrested and eventually escapes to San Francisco with Maguire, aiming to capture Denver Eddie. Meanwhile, Steve and Gahagan go undercover to claim the $5000 reward and buy a house for themselves and Torchy. However, Steve's discovery and Gahagan's wrestling match with an old opponent complicate their mission.
