Two bush pilots, Steve and Johnny, are not only business partners but also rivals for the heart of local beauty Arlene. When Steve visits the mountain lodge where Arlene works, Johnny's jealousy gets the better of him and he lands his plane on a nearby lake, sparking a confrontation with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
