In a futuristic society, avatars in the real world are the norm, thanks to the Fractale System. However, as the system's functionality starts to deteriorate, cracks begin to appear, exposing underlying problems in the previously utopian world.

In a world where avatars are essential, the collapse of the Fractale System exposes the dark underbelly of a seemingly flawless society. As chaos ensues, some individuals resort to violent uprisings. Clain's life takes a drastic turn when he encounters a mysterious girl, Phryne, being pursued by unknown forces. She gifts him a distinctive avatar, Nessa, triggering a sequence of events that irreversibly alters Clain's existence.
