Monsters threatening the world above are countered by an alliance of subterranean explorers and their surface allies.
A team of scientists, Earth Corps, is dedicated to subterranean exploration, but their work is abruptly halted when monstrous creatures from beneath the earth, known as Inhumanoids, and their human accomplice Blackthorne Shore, launch a surprise assault on the surface world.
