Spider-Man must rescue a stranded shuttle crew on Counter-Earth, but finds himself in a dark and tyrannical parallel world instead.
Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man, faces a new challenge when he fails to stop Venom and Carnage from escaping to Counter-Earth. After being falsely accused of a catastrophic event, Peter fakes his own death and goes into hiding. However, he soon discovers that the crew of the shuttle is alive on Counter-Earth and decides to rescue them, adopting a new look and technology provided by Reed Richards.
