A high-stakes political drama unfolds as a politician's reputation is jeopardized by the public disclosure of compromising photographs, forcing her to confront the consequences of her personal scandal and fight to salvage her career.

Katherine Gilvey, a councilwoman, is running for Attorney General, but her campaign takes a dramatic turn when compromising photos of her affair with a former law client, now a male prostitute, surface. The man is found dead, along with a note threatening to release the photos unless Katherine drops out of the race. As she investigates, Katherine becomes suspicious of several individuals, including a powerful broker, a charismatic minister, an activist priest, and even her own husband.
