A series of burglaries affects several neighbors, including the McAdams, who become victims themselves when their house is broken into. The father finds his wife dead and daughter Aimee, 16, unconscious at the base of the stairs. After being in a coma for 18 months, Aimee wakes up with no memory of the event, but as she recovers physically, she begins to relive the night in her dreams, growing increasingly fearful that she may be the next target.
