A grieving father finds comfort in a woman with the extraordinary ability to perceive the spirits of deceased children, including his own dearly departed daughter.

A emotionally repressed man struggles with the loss of his 11-year-old daughter after missing her ballet performance due to his demanding job. As guilt consumes him, it strains his relationships with his wife and younger daughter. He finds solace in a blind woman with the ability to communicate with the dead, and her rural home becomes a sanctuary where he must confront his emotions and find peace.
