A dedicated LA cabbie, Max Durocher, is drawn to a beautiful U.S. Justice Department prosecutor, Annie Farrell, who is impressed by his poetic insights about others. Despite his efficiency, Max's life is stagnant, and he deludes himself into thinking he'll own a limousine service one day. One night, he's hired by a mysterious client, Vincent, for a unique job: driving him to five stops for a flat fee. As the night unfolds, Max discovers Vincent is a hitman on a mission to kill five people, and he's forced to continue driving him. When Max learns one of the names on the list is someone he cares about, he tries to take back control of his life and escape Vincent's deadly plans.
