Daniel is a multifaceted actor with a journey marked by both challenges and exciting twists. Despite the obstacles he has faced, he continues to strive for his ultimate goal. His distinctive voice has recently been featured as the voice of Nightwolf in the popular video game series Mortal Kombat 11.
Daniel's impressive resume includes holding the title of Mr. U.S.A. at the inaugural Mr. World Competition in Istanbul, Turkey. He has also modeled and appeared in GQ Magazine, beating out thousands of others to become B.U.M. Equipment's newest face.
Daniel's focus on his acting career has led to roles in several films, including the award-winning movie Silent No More, where he played the powerful and sinister leading male role of Cisco. The film won the Best Docudrama Award at the 2014 NAFCA African Oscars Ceremony in Beverly Hills, California.
His film work also includes Once Upon a Time in China & America, Bullet Ride, and the Michael Mann film Collateral. Daniel has appeared on various television shows, such as Two Broke Girls, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Lie to Me, Pink Collar Crimes, and General Hospital, where he recently had a recurring role.
As a principal dancer and cast member of Viva El Paso! and the Shakespeare-on-the-Rocks Theatre Festival, Daniel has played iconic roles such as Romeo, Marcus Antonius, Petruchio, Caliban, and many others. He originated the role of Miwok in the Geffen Theatre production of Paint Your Wagon in Los Angeles, California, and starred as Ollantay Warrior of the Sun at the historic El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood, California.
Daniel has also sung as one of the leads in the Burt Bacharach musical Love Sweet Love, sharing the stage with renowned performers such as Michael York, Dan Castellaneta, Robert Goulet, Tom Wilson, Sharon Lawrence, Christian Slater, Ed Begley Jr., Edward Albert, Dawnn Lewis, and many others.
As a professional singer, Daniel has performed as a soloist at the Walt Disney Concert Hall and the Hollywood Bowl. He is currently producing his album collaboration with Tony Award and Grammy winner Steve Orich and feels grateful to have had the opportunity to work with the late Doug Fieger of The Knack.
Daniel has voiced characters on popular shows such as South Park and the family feature A Dog and Pony Show. He is an active writer and creator, with projects including the YouTube series It's Chiquis, Saul T. Peanut, and Sabrina Says, co-created with his wife Sabrina Azul.
