In the town of Cactus Junction, a trio of misfits - Shamrock, Lucky, and the Colonel - are tasked by the Sheriff to keep the peace, but they have other plans. They accept a bribe from Morgan to drive the local ranchers off their land, only to subvert his intentions by bringing in notorious outlaw Loco Joe and his accomplices. Morgan, unimpressed with the original trio, decides to make a similar offer to the outlaws instead.
