Family Diary

In 1945, Enrico Corsi mourns the loss of his younger brother Lorenzo, who died at 27 after a long illness. The brothers were separated at birth, with Lorenzo raised by a wealthy English family and Enrico by their maternal grandmother in poverty. They only briefly reunited in 1935, before Lorenzo's adult life was marked by struggle and disappointment. Enrico, who also faced challenges, tried to help Lorenzo find his place in life rather than dwell on what could have been.
