Patty Schemel, the openly gay drummer of Courtney Love's iconic rock band 'Hole', recounts her journey from being a unique young girl in her farm town outside of Seattle to becoming a rockstar, with her picture on the cover of 'Rolling Stone'. However, she also struggled with addiction and the darker side of fame, mirroring the experiences of her friend Kurt Cobain.
