A struggling movie agent, Billy Crystal, is fired by his only client, a former paperboy, in Romania. Feeling despondent, he gets into a car accident and is rescued by a 7.5-foot-tall man, Gheorge Muresan, a former NBA player. The agent tries to find ways to get the giant back to America and into the movies, while the giant is determined to visit his childhood sweetheart in Gallup. The agent helps the giant land a small role in a Romanian film and later convinces Steven Seagal to include him in a new action movie.
