Daniel Louis Castellaneta is a multifaceted American artist, boasting a diverse range of talents as an actor, voice actor, comedian, and television writer. He is most famously recognized for his iconic voice work as Homer Simpson, Abraham "Grampa" Simpson, Barney Gumble, Krusty the Clown, Sideshow Mel, Groundskeeper Willie, Mayor Quimby, and Hans Moleman on the beloved animated series The Simpsons, which premiered in 1989.
In addition to his extensive work on The Simpsons, Castellaneta has lent his voice to numerous other programs, including Futurama, Sibs, Darkwing Duck, The Adventures of Dynamo Duck, The Batman, Back to the Future, Aladdin, Taz-Mania, and Hey Arnold!. He has also made guest appearances on popular television shows such as Friends and How I Met Your Mother.
