A journalist travels to the Bermuda Triangle to investigate a series of mysterious ship disappearances, accompanied by his young son. After their plane crashes on a remote island, they become stranded and are captured by a group of pirates led by John David Nau. The journalist is forced to take the place of a dead husband, while his son is brainwashed and becomes a pirate.
