The Jackal

In a joint operation between the FBI and MVD, a Russian mobster is killed, sparking a wave of deadly retribution from his brother. The FBI and MVD learn that an assassin known as the Jackal has been hired to kill a high-profile American target, but they don't know who the target is or what the Jackal looks like. They track down a former Basque separatist who has ties to the Jackal, but she is nowhere to be found. They then turn to a notorious IRA operative who claims to have met the Jackal and agrees to help them, but only if they promise to meet certain demands.
