Rod Drew is tasked with locating a missing miner and his daughter, accompanied by his old friend Wabi, who has been framed for murder by card cheats. As they embark on their mission, they stumble upon a skeleton and a cryptic map leading to a mine. After inserting the map into a safe, they are confronted by a LaRocque henchman, who seeks to claim the map for himself. The situation escalates as LaRocque captures the Mountie sent to rescue Wabi, and later, Rod and Wabi themselves are taken captive by a disguised LaRocque henchman dressed as the Mountie.
