James A. Marcus, a renowned thespian, entered this world on January 21, 1867, in the bustling metropolis of New York City, New York, USA. Throughout his illustrious career, he gained recognition for his captivating performances in a variety of films, including the 1928 drama "Sadie Thompson", the 1925 epic "The Eagle", and the 1923 swashbuckling adventure "Scaramouche". Marcus's personal life was marked by a loving union with his wife, the lovely Lillian Hathaway. Unfortunately, his life came to a close on October 15, 1937, in the picturesque city of Hollywood, California, USA.
