A young Pescara housewife, Rosalba, takes matters into her own hands after being forgotten by her family at a highway café. Feeling offended and rebelling, she decides to hitchhike to Venice, where she encounters a cast of quirky characters, including an anarchistic florist, a masseuse, and a waiter from Iceland who speaks his own brand of Italian.
