Festival in Cannes

A talented actress is tempted by a lucrative offer from a charismatic businessman to produce her independent film, but the high price tag may exact a personal toll.

In the film industry, a talented actress named Alice seeks to direct an independent movie. She is offered a substantial sum of $3 million by a talkative and charismatic deal maker, Kaz, on the condition that she casts a renowned French actress, Millie, in the lead role. However, a big producer, Rick, is desperate to secure Millie for a small part in his upcoming film, as losing her would mean losing his A-list star, Tom Hanks. As tensions rise, Millie consults her ex-husband Victor about which project to pursue, while Rick tries to persuade Alice and sabotage Kaz's deal to keep Millie from taking the offer. Meanwhile, a young and aspiring actress named Blue is discovered, and Kaz's intentions are put to the test as he becomes involved with Victor's new love interest. The film explores the cutthroat world of Hollywood deal-making, where alliances are formed and broken, and the question remains: which deals will ultimately be consummated?
