Air Force Pilot Doug's father is shot down by hostile MiGs, leaving no one to rescue him. Undeterred, Doug teams up with Colonel Chappy to embark on a daring mission to rescue his father by bombing the MiG base and then infiltrating the enemy's air defenses. However, their plan faces numerous challenges, including acquiring two fighters, evading detection during transport from California to the Mediterranean, and overcoming Doug's unique requirement of music to improve his flying skills.
